Copying a profile to create a new Default profile in Windows 8.x is a bit different from doing so in Windows 7 – just copying the profile over & renaming it “breaks” the Metro tiles on the start page. Specifically, the Mail, Calendar, Skype, and People tiles do not work.
One way around it is to follow the instructions HERE (after copying & renaming the setup profile?)
